ORDER A CUSTOM DESIGN
I undertake commissions throughout the year, and work with you to produce a piece that is unique to you and, hopefully, reflective of either you, or the loved one you are commissioning for. I'm always at the end of an e-mail, and will send you progress photos as I create, as I think it is vital that you are part of the creative process. Any queries you have, any requests, please contact me to let me know, as the more I know about you and your vision, the more reflective my work will be of your wishes. , and work with you

Having grown up with a mother who more than slightly adores William Morris, I've grown up with a great admiration for his designs, and the Arts and Crafts movement in general. This was my first attempt at a stylised drawing, again, freehand and entirely handpainted.

I painted this as a celebration plate, after the birth of my son. The two magpies hold a pendant with his initial, and above and below are lockets holding the initials of myself and my partner.

Another Robert Frost inspired plate. This is one of my favourite poems, and I carried the image in my head for a long time before thinking to paint it.

Some of 2017's glass hanging decorations boxed up.

The first full glass firing of the year! Very exciting.

Iridescent glass has been fused into the centre of this snowflake, it looks beautiful in the light.

This is loosely based on the form of a poinsettia, with dappled glass on the front petals to give a greater depth to the design.

This was exhibited at Littoral Light 2017. The fused glass panels were made to represent the poem Dover Beach, by Matthew Arnold.

One of the handprint panels from my fused glass cube.

This is the cube fully installed and illuminated.

These ceramic and glass sea urchins were made for the Littoral Light Exhibition, and lit internally to illuminate them as the light faded.

This is the Ocean Suite mural, designed and created to remember babies who have passed away and provide an individual and personalised way for parents to remember them.

This is one of my "Rockpool" bowls, complete with blenny.

One of my favourite things to create. I handcut and hand draw tiles using slip and infill glazes and glass to create a textured and complex surface.

I've included this picture as I think it's important that you see how this process works. For this lamp, several layers of dark blue glaze were applied, and then the design drawn then painted on to the surface. You can still see some of the pencil lines in this photo, around where I planned the script for the quote. The pencil lines burn off in the kiln, leaving behind only the design. To me, it's a very special kind of magic.
