There are many amazingly creative people and places in Margate; these are but a few, but they're a few who've helped or inspired me hugely.
Without Pick and Paint a Pot, I can guarantee that I wouldn't even have thought of doing what I do now. They're wonderful people, wonderfully helpful, and run many different types of workshop and painting sessions. Go see them!
I've been going to Lovelys for as long as I can remember (and that's a really long time, as I'm now so very, very old...) They're wonderfully helpful, always, and that was greatly appreciated when I was a highly awkward teenager with no idea about either paint or paper, and they are utterly fantastic at supporting local artists. So, pay them a visit, browse their wonderful collections and come home with some wondrous art...
